4 day agoThe Somali government announced that an operation conducted along with the U.S. deep inside al-Shabaab territory resulted in the killing of 18 militants and the destruction of an explosives production and preparations factory. The statement issued in the early hours of Friday (Mogadishu time) said the operation was conducted tonight in Saakow town, Middle Jubba region.
