Dhicisow Mohamed Qeelshe, the commander of Middle Shabeelle governor's bodyguards and 4 soldiers were killed after their military vehicle drove over a roadside bomb in Jowhar town. Today, a clash between regional security forces and armed villagers erupted in the town
Separately there are reports of an IED explosion in Jowhar targeting security forces, casualties reported
